Dr. Cassia Hayes has spent months trying, and failing, to create a vaccine for a novel pathogen at biotech giant Baker and Pryor. Her research is going nowhere, and the only bright spot in her day is her ongoing flirtationship with the janitor, Elias Correa.

But when the pathogen escapes containment and the facility erupts into chaos, Cassia learns two things very quickly:

The virus is more dangerous than she's been led to believe.

Elias is not a janitor.
